Commonly when one see’s apparel depicting their favorite smokeable it often doesn’t mesh with their style, often-times the shirt is too graphic intensive or something about the design makes you never want to wear it. If you can relate to any of these situations then look no further, the design masterminds at Totally Harmless Clothing have set their sights on making strain-friendly fashion that appeals to even the most conservative of eyes. So without further to do, let’s learn more about T.H.C…..
Now, you may be asking us, what’s a strain? Well we’ve asked the guys from T.H.C. to weigh in on this issue for you:
“The way we see it, a strain is a unique blend of plants (and growing methods) combined to yield a desired effect and flavor. While it may have a very scientific ring to it, the blending of one style of cannabis with another is truly an art form, and the results from this process are akin to that of a truly great wine or whiskey.”
Partly based in the bustling urban metropolis of New York City as well as in the rural western region of New York state T.H.C is an east coast based enterprise. It all started when two friends Chris Smith and Frank Campanella wanted to be able to create designs that weren’t obviously cannabis-related and overrun with leaves, etc. They wanted to go for a more incognito and ”in-the-know” kind of design where people familiar with cannabis strains would recognize the underlying meaning. And on the flip side, people that didn’t know what it was could appreciate the design by itself because of the appealing visuals.

After about two years of working nights on this project due to the time constraints of their other jobs the site is now fully functional and T.H.C. has already harvested their first batch of scrumptious strain-inspired t-shirts. With strains like Bubble Gum, White Widow, NYC Diesel and more you’ll be able to support your favorite smoke in a fashionable way, and with the help of our old time friends and super-strain-sleuthing-scientists Leafly T.H.C. will only be printing strains that have been approved by them first! Eventually they’d love to throw in a few limited run special edition strain shirts and other goodies to liven up the mix, but for now they’re concentrated on making sure you get a quality product at a price you can afford.

With each shirt costing just $19.00 before taxes and shipping picking up one won’t cost you any overtime at the office or any spare limbs, and each shirt is handmade using only organic dyes and inks in a sweatshop-free, family-run operation in Peru. So you’ll also be able to get to sleep at night pretty well too.
